Found my tree to sit and connect to all
Touched the river that saves and carries life
Circled my hands around the Earth embracing each growth
Tasted the air that graces my lungs and releases the suffering

Regrets not my friend
Fear a long lost companion
Pain a constant reminder
Compassion healed my soul
Peace comforted my mind
Happiness reflected in the eyes of my progeny
Joy my compass each day
